Pay and social benefits

Employees are paid in accordance with the Framework Agreement on Pay (Entgeltrahmenabkommen - ERA) of the metal industry in North-Rhine Westphalia, including Christmas and holiday pay and agreed extra pay. We guarantee a travel allowance and offer you a company pension scheme (MetallRente scheme) and occupational disability insurance without a health check. You and one additional member of your family can make the most of our work bike arrangement. You can buy brand goods, clothing and food at a discounted rate under company conditions. We also have discounted car rental services on offer.

Structure of work and working hours

Have your own freedom with our company agreement on flexible working times, including working hours accounts. Thanks to our provisions and IT infrastructure, it is possible to work remotely, for example from your home office, in keeping with the times. Using our online workspace, Global Office, you can work from anywhere. You will be supported by the central IT helpdesk. Paperwork is a thing of the past: we offer you convenient, digital tracking of your working hours, digital workflows for holidays and other requests, and payrolls accessible at any time on our modern online portal.

Provisions and health

You will receive occupational healthcare with regular check-ups.  After longer periods of inability to work, our company integration management team (BEM) will make sure your return to work is as smooth as possible. Make the most of our health and safety management system, from HSE competitions with bonuses to regulations on protection of non-smokers and addiction prevention. We will provide you with personal protective equipment (e.g. protective shoes and individually adapted ear protection). We have ergonomic working stations, for example with height-adjustable desks. In the event of an emergency abroad, the international emergency number of the BAUER Group is available.

Further education

We regularly assess the needs for training and further education and offer comprehensive and customised training offers from the BAUER training centre - as in-person events, webinars or e-learning modules. We promote your further technical education alongside the job (e.g. technician training, degree or key user competencies) as well as your personal development, for example in leadership training. And to complete our offer, we also have special types of training such as for driver safety.
